URGENT: Tell your reps to block nonprofit killer bill!
The House will vote soon to determine whether the Trump administration will have the power to shut down non-profit organizations with no due process. This text, formerly called HR 9495, now Section 112209, is wrapped into a budget package that could pass and end up on Trump’s desk as early as July.
Congress has already tried to fast-track this legislation once and failed because of the onslaught of calls to their offices. We can’t let them do this quietly. Congress giving Trump the power to crush dissent and target organizations fighting for justice is a betrayal. Tell your representatives to vote NO on this dangerous bill!

“I am calling to urge the representative to oppose Section 112209 of the budget package, formerly known as HR 9495. This is a dangerous bill would give the Trump administration unilateral power to label any non-profit as terrorist supporting and shut it down without due process. I am calling on my representative to defend civil rights organizations and demand this text is stripped from the budget. Thank you.”
